Katherine Knister Zook has been the Executive Director of Silver State Fair Housing Council since 1990. Statewide fair housing programs developed under Ms. Zook’s guidance include community education about fair housing rights and responsibilities; enforcement activities designed to detect and verify incidences of housing discrimination; and assessment of impediments to fair housing in Nevada.

Ms. Zook conducts fair housing training for housing providers and consumers at local, state, and national conferences. She has been a trainer for HUD’s Fair Housing FIRST program and for the National Fair Housing Training Academy.
